Public service departments around Canberra remained in a state of shock on Thursday as they tried to come to terms with the tragic deaths of three of their own.

The three public servants, Luke Dorsett, his sister Kate Goodchild and partner Roozbeh (Roozi) Araghi, all died in Tuesday's horror accident at the Dreamworld theme park on the Gold Coast.
Workers at the the Department of Human Services, where Mr Dorsett and his Ms Goodchild worked and at the Australian Bureau of Statistic where Mr Araghi was on secondment remained "shattered" on Thursday by the tragic deaths of their colleagues.
Mr Araghi's "home department", Health, has established a virtual wall of remembrance on its intranet for colleagues to share photos and memories of their co-worker.
"We are publishing a memorial wall today on the Health intranet, inviting staff across the department to contribute their comments, photos, stories and reflections about our highly respected and popular colleague, Roozi," a departmental spokeswoman told Fairfax.
The words on the wall are designed to reflect the esteem Mr Araghi was held in by his colleagues.
"We have lost a great friend, colleague, an advocate, a champion for diversity and minority groups, a man who cared about issues, about the world and, fundamentally, about people," the wall-post states.
"He was, indeed, larger than life and passionate about so many things: justice, fairness, diversity and public service.
"He also loved writing, music, fashion and popular culture.
"Roozi's essence was his kindness, his generosity, his energy, his commitment and his love of family and friends.
"A remarkable and unique individual.
"We will never forget him.
"We all have our own Roozi stories and memories.
"This page is for you, his friends, to share some of them.
"For Roozi and for each other."
There is an unofficial call from some public servants at the Australian Bureau of Statistics to come to work on Friday wearing purple in a tribute to Mr Araghi, but the bureau says it has no more official commemoration planned.
At Human Services, where counselling was offered to workers at Belconnen and Tuggeranong where Ms Goodchild and Mr Dorsett worked, a spokeswoman also confirmed that there were no further official memorials planned.
