First nude beach gets tick from Mayor

Queensland has moved a step closer to securing its first legal nude beach. Sunshine Coast Regional Council Mayor Bob Abbot yesterday agreed to take a proposal for a clothes-optional beach to the council for consideration within the next six weeks. Free Beaches Australia, the lobby group behind the nude beach push , had suggested three different sites, however Mr Abbot said the most likely choice would be Noosa's Alexandra Bay
