Centre Max Evans and prop Geoff Cross were both members of the tour party that drew a two Test series 1-1 away to Argentina in June, although neither man took the field against the Pumas.
Prop Moray Low missed that tour through injury while centre Calum MacRae, scrum-half Mark McMillan, lock Dan Turner and full-back/stand-off Stephen Jones featured in the Scotland A squad that reached June's Churchill Cup final in Chicago where they were beaten 36-19 by their England counterparts.
Meanwhile wing Sean Lamont returned to the squad after missing the entire 2008 Six Nations with a knee injury.
Lamont has already returned to action for his club, Northampton Saints, scoring a try against Newcastle Falcons at the weekend.
Scotland have the daunting task of playing recently crowned Tri-Nations kings New Zealand and world champions South Africa on successive weekends at Murrayfield while November also sees them up against Canada at Aberdeen football club's Pittodrie ground.
"The purpose of this squad session is really two-fold; firstly to debrief following the Argentina tour; and secondly for the players to be introduced to our two new assistant coaches, Mike Brewer and Graham Steadman," Hadden said here Tuesday.
Scotland face New Zealand on November 8 before playing South Africa on November 15 and completing their autumn schedule against Canada on November 22.
