The Westpac Lifesaver helicopter completed the rescue at Myrtle Beach about 11.30am, the man and woman, with minor cuts, being winched into the helicopter.
Lifesavers from nearby Batemans Bay responded to calls for help on jet skis.
Director of Lifesaving Andrew Edmunds said seas were calm. ''Fortunately there was an off-duty lifesaver fishing in the area at the time they got into trouble, who went to their immediate assistance before the helicopter arrived,'' he said.
''The couple climbed up onto the rocks and were winched to the helicopter and the boat was recovered around an hour later.''
Lifesavers and Marine Rescue units salvaged the four-metre vessel as others watched from nearby rocks.
