A good Samaritan who came to the aid of a man who crashed his car got more than she bargained for when the man stole her car to flee the scene.

It turned out the Toyota Corolla the man had been driving when he had a head-on collision on the Princes Highway, about 10km south of Ulladulla, had been stolen from the Sydney suburb of Croydon on Tuesday.
After the crash, which happened about at 7.20am, on Thursday, he screamed for help.
The good Samaritan responded to the call, then went back into her nearby house to call emergency services.
“While the woman was on the phone, the man allegedly reached inside and took a set of keys hanging near the door,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“The woman yelled out to the man, but was allegedly threatened, before the man left in her car.”
The 38-year old male driver of the other vehicle in the crash was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are looking to speak to the man, thought to be travelling in a black Suzuki Vitara with NSW registration AV-80-QT.
“He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his early 20s, about 183cm tall, with a thin build, very short spiked brown hair, and a tattoo on one arm. He was wearing a dark coloured T-shirt and beige-coloured shorts at the time.”
Police say not to approach the man if you see him, but to call 000 immediately.
