Two people were killed on Sunday morning when a car crashed into a tree on the Kings Highway, about 20km east of Braidwood.
A survivor was airlifted from the scene on the road that links Canberra with the NSW south coast town of Batemans Bay.
The crash came two days after a 52-year-old father and two daughters, aged eight and 10, were killed on the same stretch of highway.
Four occupants of another car in the accident, including girls aged 11 and 13, were taken to Canberra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell said he would seek advice on whether to pledge extra money for the dangerous stretch of road.
''Which road are you going to take money from - the Pacific Highway, the Princes Highway?'' he said in western Sydney on Sunday.
''There is a finite budget. It's a finite budget under pressure because of the floods.
''Any death on our roads, particularly in this case where it involved a father and two young daughters, is to be regretted,'' Mr O'Farrell said.
