The ACT government will not reveal its plans on how to address a series of problems raised by an audit into the controversial Dickson land swap until some time next year.

The audit into the land swap, released earlier this year, revealed the Canberra Tradesmen's Union Club got up to $2.6 million under a more favourable deal than that was first envisaged in tender documents to sell a government-owned carpark outside the club.
However, both the club's chief executive Rob Docker and one of the government's key negotiators on the deal, Greg Ellis, dispute the auditor's findings, saying the government got the better end in the ultimate deal.
Mr Ellis also maintains the deal he negotiated in 2013 was significantly better value for taxpayers than the final deal reached in December 2014.
The deal saw the government pay the club $3.9 million for a block of land currently housing the CFMEU's office in Rosevear Place, Dickson, and $45,000 for a nearby block formerly housing the Downer club.
In return, the government sold the Dickson carpark, next to the Tradies Club, through a tender process to the club for $3.5 million, but settlement was delayed until a nearby development was completed.
Since the audit was released, claims have been made that a box of documents detailing key negotiations between the club and former senior executives at the now-defunct Land Development Agency went missing, while both the Greens and Opposition plan to refer the matter to the proposed anti-corruption commission.
While the directorate initially failed to investigate the claims of missing documents, after questions about the matter from The Canberra Times, senior staff later confirmed the directorate was investigating the claims.
At the time, Planning Minister Mick Gentleman said the audit had put the matter to bed, a position he and others ministers have since distanced themselves from repeatedly.
When he formally responded to the audit report in June, Mr Gentleman pledged to provide an implementation plan to the Assembly on the risks to legislative non-compliance identified in the audit, given it likely breached the Planning and Development Act, as well as how and when those changes would be made.
The audit also recommended the planning directorate brief Mr Gentleman and advise him on how to fix problems with the tender process.
But in a letter recently tabled in the Assembly, Mr Gentleman has now indicated the government does not intend to release the promised implementation plan until some time in 2019.
Despite the government being aware of the audit underway since September 2017, and the audit being released in February this year, Mr Gentleman has still not been briefed on the matter.
"Recognising the breadth and complexity of the matters raised by the report, the directorate sought legal advice from the ACT government solicitor which has been received," Mr Gentleman's letter read.
"The directorate is preparing a submission for Cabinet consideration early in 2019 as required by recommendation one of the report.
"Following Cabinet's consideration, I will table in the Legislative Assembly an implementation progress statement as foreshadowed by the government response."
It remains unclear when exactly that statement will be released.
