However, three people remain on-the-run, with detectives launching a public appeal in the hope of identifying the trio who may be able to help with the investigation.

It will be alleged four men and a woman entered Red Chilli Karaoke on Boundary Road in Coopers Plains about 3am on Sunday, February 25.

Police said the customers then became aggressive, before repeatedly punching a 22-year-old male employee in the head as well as repeatedly kicking and punching a 25-year-old male employee in the head and dragging him down a set of stairs.

The younger employee suffered bruising and swelling, while the other member of staff suffered serious injuries, including a facial fracture, and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

It will be further alleged that the business owner, a 35-year-old man, was also punched and kicked by the group, causing bruising and swelling to his face and head.

The group allegedly smashed the front desk and CCTV cameras before fleeing from the scene.

Police said one of the victims managed to call police during the attack, with officers arresting one man nearby and catching up with another alleged attacker later on.

A 27-year-old New Beith man was charged with nine offences including grievous bodily harm, armed robbery using personal violence, assault, wilful damage, deprivation of liberty and assault occasioning bodily harm.

He appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on February 26 and was remanded in custody to reappear on April 23.

A 23-year-old Ellen Grove man was charged a string of offences including grievous bodily harm, armed robbery and assault. He was due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.

Detectives have appealed for anyone who may be able to identify the remaining two men and woman captured in security footage to contact them.
