A stellar run of form for Canberra's under 20s has seen Kris force his way onto the wing in the New South Wales Blues under 18s side for next Wednesday night's State of Origin curtain-raiser at ANZ Stadium.
It's the same stage Cotric played on last year, and he has since emerged as one of the brightest young talents in the NRL.
Like Cotric, Kris is a hulking outside back that came through the Valley Dragons junior system and has excelled in the National Youth Competition this season.
He will find himself under the guidance of rugby league legend Brad Fittler as the junior Blues go searching for back to back victories following a 26-0 win last year.
