The Canberra Raiders big man rediscovered his form last weekend after a hamstring injury limited his impact over the past month.
Learoyd-Lahrs conceded his hamstring problem had affected him mentally and he was reluctant to play at full speed.
It meant he had just eight hit-ups for a combined 51 metres in the last two rounds of the regular season.
But in an indication the 110-kilogram prop is nearing his best, Learoyd-Lahrs doubled his work rate in just one game and had 16 hit-ups for 125 metres against the Sharks in the first week of the finals.
''I've been looking to get more involved and push it to the limit. I haven't played in that many finals so I'm certainly not content with anything I've done in finals,'' Learoyd-Lahrs said.
''I've still got some things to work on and touch up … I'm still fighting to find that consistency and I'll never stop trying.
''My form has kind of mimicked the team and there have been games I haven't been happy with.
''But you can get bogged down and worry or you can keep looking forward and that's what I try to do.
''I'd love to get out there and find some form with a performance I know I'm capable of.''
Learoyd-Lahrs turned 27 on Wednesday and can be one of the most damaging forwards in the NRL.
He is part of a Canberra front-row rotation which includes David Shillington, Dane Tilse and Mark Nicholls.
They will come up against a Rabbitohs pack boasting Sam Burgess, Roy Asotasi, David Taylor and Michael Crocker.
Learoyd-Lahrs said the Rabbitohs had one of the biggest packs he'd seen, but was confident the Raiders could hold their own in a battle of the forwards.
