The major sponsor of the Canberra Raiders is sticking with the club and wants a quick resolution to doping allegations contained in the Australian Crime Commission report.
The Raiders were one of six clubs named in the report, but no details have been made public more than a week after the clubs were identified.
Huawei corporate affairs director Jeremy Mitchell said the Chinese telecommunications giant had maintained weekly contact with the Raiders and had been kept informed every step of the way. ''We're very keen to get the facts and the true picture as soon as possible,'' Mitchell said. ''There's a cloud put over the sport and the club without any details of what it is. We're fully supportive of the team, fully supportive of the management and looking forward to a great season.''
The Raiders are Huawei's first overseas sponsorship after signing a $1.7 million, two-year deal at the start of last season.
