Robinson is set to be thrust into Josh Dugan's vacant fullback spot, with Blake Ferguson reverting to his customary position on the wing.
Former English Super League player Dimitri Pelo had been named on Tuesday to make his NRL debut for the Raiders.
But Pelo played with Canberra's feeder club Mounties yesterday and scored two tries in a 35-24 win over the Cronulla Sharks.
The Raiders would not confirm the changes last night. The Raiders had previously signalled giving Robinson another week to recover, but he returned to full training this week after getting a medical clearance on Tuesday.
Robinson impressed Raiders coaching staff during the pre-season when he slotted into fullback for Dugan and was seen as the natural back-up if the NSW State of Origin representative was unavailable.
Dugan is expected to miss up to six weeks with a shoulder injury.
