Canberra Raiders winger Edrick Lee admits he doesn't know much about the history of rugby league, but that's why meeting the club's old boys is such "a big buzz".

Raiders coach Ricky Stuart made a concerted effort to rebuild the culture that made the club a success upon his return in 2014.
Stuart wanted Canberra's current crop to know what it took to be a Raider – so in came the icons, the premiership players, the legends.
Lee said Stuart's efforts to recognise the past and build the future is proof of the passion the former premiership player has for the lime green jersey.
But meeting the old boys doesn't stop at a handshake for the Queensland prospect who has an eye on replicating their success.
"Whoever Ricky introduces, I always search them up on Google or on a YouTube clip just to see how they played," Lee said.
"When the Raiders had their good era all the players were big and mobile and they all played that tough brand of football.
"That's sort of implemented in our game at the moment and give full credit to Sticky [Stuart] about that."
Should the Raiders knock over Melbourne in their own backyard they will be 80 minutes away from the club's drought-breaking fourth premiership.
A title could see Lee's name up there with the likes of John "Chicka" Ferguson and Noa Nadruku, paving the way for the next generation to be watching Lee's highlights reel.
"If that ever happens it would be a blessing," Lee said.
"But there are a lot of other good players in the team and as long as we get that formula right, surely everyone will have a couple of highlights out there."
One Raiders legend Lee could be seeing a lot more of is Australian coach Mal Meninga.
Meninga dubbed Lee as a potential Kangaroos bolter this year after the 24-year-old spent time in Queensland's camp as 18th man last season.
"Once you get into the Queensland camp you sort of get to know Mal on a personal level and get to know him off the field," Lee said.
"It's always good to see him around the club and it was a good thing to catch up with him at the presentation night [on Monday].
"You see he's doing wonderful things in the community and everyone's looking to be in his team come the end of the year."
While Lee hopes to cap off an injury-hampered year with representative honours, he isn't looking any further than a preliminary final clash with the Storm on Saturday.
"It's definitely nice to get a mention like that, but I'm just really focused on the Raiders at the moment and I'm hoping we can get into the grand final," Lee said.
"... We know it's a big ask to play Melbourne in their backyard so we're just focusing on ourselves and getting our preparation right and hopefully get to the big dance."
