The ACT Brumbies say they've "turned the page" on attacking rugby and hope they can unleash their new running confidence against the Melbourne Rebels.

But coach Stephen Larkham says the players will still use a measured approached to balance their game as they brace for a storm in Melbourne on Saturday night.
The Brumbies went on a second-half rampage last weekend and ignited Canberra with a superb display of free-flowing attack in a 43-10 win against Queensland.
The players were given the freedom to attack at all times and they thrived, in particular fullback Aidan Toua.
However, the Rebels pose a different sort of threat as they harness the frustration of being on the Super Rugby chopping block and use it against the Brumbies.
The ARU is yet to make a decision on whether it will cull the Rebels or the Western Force in a Super Rugby overhaul for the 2018 season and beyond.
"The challenge for us is to make sure we don't get carried away with momentum," Larkham said.
"We know what we're up against at the Rebels. They're going to throw a lot at us and that's what we've been focusing on more so than what they've been thinking about.
"Conditions will dictate [running rugby] ... the plan is to try to use the ball but we'll assess the game. We're hungry to use the ball when we have it.
"Maybe we've turned a corner in terms of expressing ourselves on the field, but we also know there are pitfalls to that."
The Rebels boast former Brumbies Colby Faingaa, Siliva Siliva and Tyrel Lomax as they target their first win of the season.
The Brumbies have made two injury-forced changes to their squad, with Andrew Smith replacing Kyle Godwin (broken hand) and Jarrad Butler filling the hole left by Jordan Smiler (hamstring).
Captain Sam Carter has also been recalled after being rested last week while Tom Cusack and Jordan Jackson-Hope join the bench.
Toua is confident the changes won't stifle the Brumbies' momentum and said the players wanted to build on the thrills of last week.
"We're starting to turn things around in terms of our attack," Toua said.
"Our defence has been going really well ... the next step was evolving our attack and that's something we've really worked on.
"Everyone bought into it and having guys looking to identify space creates more space.
"I think we've finally turned a page in the way we want to attack. We'll try to carry that momentum into the Rebels."
Carter added: "We were probably a bit one dimensional against the Highlanders [three weeks ago] but we've done some work so we'll be looking for that attack."
