The winner will earn a place in the Super Rugby final and a chance to play for the championship trophy.
But before arriving at a hostile Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria for the Sunday morning match, the players had some light-hearted fun with The Canberra Times about life on tour.
SCOTT FARDY
Any tips for getting over jet lag? A few beers after landing, but Jake doesn't like that one.
Best room mate on tour? Clyde Rathbone. He's my current room mate and he's very intellectual.
Worst room mate on tour? Sam Carter. He's an absolute grub and never stops sleeping
Best thing about being in South Africa? The food, there's lots of meat.
How do you spend your down time on tour? Coffee, a bit of golf depending on how we feel or shopping.
Why can the Brumbies beat the Bulls? We had a good 80 minutes against the Cheetahs to get our match fitness back and that will get us going well this weekend.
IAN PRIOR
Any tips for getting over jet lag? Light exposure in the first couple of days, resetting your body clock by getting in the sun. No napping.
Best room mate on tour? Jesse Mogg. He might not be the best, but I've put up with him for the past two years. We know each other pretty well.
Worst room mate on tour? Jesse Mogg as well. He's messy, leaves stuff lying around and smells a bit.
Best thing about being in South Africa? Definitely biltong. I love it and red meat in general. Always put on a bit of weight when I come here, muscle of course.
How do you spend your down time on tour? We're next to a casino at the moment so we spend a bit of time there. Then some uni work, local attractions or some reading.
Why can the Brumbies beat the Bulls? We gained a lot of confidence out of beating the Cheetahs and our travel protocols probably set us up well to come back even fitter than we were. We found a way to win and hopefully we can again.
ROBBIE COLEMAN
Any tips for getting over jet lag? We had a game of cricket when we got here. It was backs v forwards, backs won convincingly and I brought up a 70 not out.
Best room mate on tour? Dan Palmer, even though he's not here now. He's in bed by 7.30pm, he leaves you alone and you can do your own thing.
Worst room mate on tour? I've got two - Colby Faingaa and Clyde Rathbone. Colby because when we're on tour he really misses his girlfriend Lauren and he's very emotional every night. I have to console him. Clyde because when the beds are too small he pushes them together so he can have both and if you're his roomy you have to be on the floor.
Best thing about being in South Africa? Plenty of good sights and the weather. Winter here is warm compared to Canberra.
How do you spend your down time on tour? There's a casino near by with a complex so just having coffees over there.
Why can the Brumbies beat the Bulls? I just think we're on a roll and we haven't played our best footy yet. We're about to click and I'm hoping it's going to be this week. When we do click, I don't think any team can compete with us.
JOSEPH TOMANE
Any tips for getting over jet lag? Trying getting into the time zone on the flight over here.
Best room mate on tour? Andrew Smith. I'm with him now, he's very easy to get along with and understanding.
Worst room mate on tour? I had Benny Alexander once and that wasn't enjoyable. He's a good guy, but he's very messy.
Best thing about being in South Africa? The excitement about rugby here. It's the No1 sport and everyone loves it.
How do you spend your down time on tour? Just relax and get out to malls. I've got a bit of a shoe addiction so if I find a pair of sneakers I like, I'll get them.
Why can the Brumbies beat the Bulls? We've got the right game plan, the right group of guys for the style we want to play and an understanding group. The team morale off the field will definitely show through because we want to do all we can for each other.
PETER KIMLIN
Any tips for getting over jet lag? Try to have as many coffees as I can to stay up during the day and a couple of sleeping pills at night.
Best room mate on tour? Pat McCabe. It's a shame he's not here, but I've roomed with him quite a bit. He's quiet, but knows when to gee me up as well.
Worst room mate on tour? An easy one - Ben Alexander for sure. He's a grubby bloke and known as a sloth.
Best thing about being in South Africa? Apart from the footy, it's the food. It's unbelievable - tasty and cheap.
How do you spend your down time on tour? Either have physio or a bit of golf if the opportunity comes up.
Why can the Brumbies beat the Bulls? We've come a long way this year. We learned a lot last year from close losses. The guys are really confident so it's going to be a massive game in front of a packed house.
BEN ALEXANDER
Any tips for getting over jet lag? Just try to sleep and go to the movie the night before the game. Gets your mind off the game, but have to make sure it's a good movie. It can't be depressing.
Best room mate on tour? Sam Carter. We both like to sleep a lot and I'm one of the few people who find his rubbish jokes funny.
Worst room mate on tour? There are a couple of shockers, but Pete Kimlin would have to be the worst. We used to live together and we're best mates. But we're not cut out to be in the same room for long periods of time.
Best thing about being in South Africa? Meat. I love it. Also the atmosphere at all the games, it's the No1 code here and they live and breathe it.
How do you spend your down time on tour? Watching movies on the iPad. I should be doing uni work as well. You get to spend more time as a group which is great and you enjoy each other's company.
Why can the Brumbies beat the Bulls? Because we believe we can. We've beaten them once before already this year so there's no reason why we can't.
MATT TOOMUA
Any tips for getting over jet lag? Nothing out of the normal. I try to stay out of the hotel all day until 8pm and go cafe hunting.
Best room mate on tour? I'm pretty much always with Nic White. It's pretty much because I feel if I'm not with him, he'd be annoying someone else. I take one for the team. I feel like I'm doing the team a favour by wearing him out.
Worst room mate on tour? Not too sure, I roomed with Benny Alexander but Ben Mowen is annoying.
Best thing about being in South Africa? I like how big rugby is here. It's exciting and infectious. I'd struggle to live in it, I enjoy anonymous. It's cool for a week and a novelty factor.
How do you spend your down time on tour? Cafe hop around the cities. I go on forums and find the best cafes and chat to baristas. In Cape Town I did six cafes on our first day.
Why can the Brumbies beat the Bulls? The little building blocks we've put in place. Finals footy is about work rate, defending and kicking. I think our strength is that unified team. We scramble well in defence and there are a lot of things that go unnoticed but within the group that's what makes us a strong team.
