Claiming an elusive piece of silverware as this season ends is the driving motivation for Wests/UC and Weston Creek Molonglo in the Douglas Cup final.

Both sides are searching for their first ACT Premier Cricket trophy of the season when they square off at Chisholm Oval on Saturday.
It's a repeat of last year's decider when Creek had the upper hand to take the victory at Kippax Oval.
Wests/UC failed to reach the final this season in either the Twenty20 and Gallop Cup one-day competitions, but made up for it finishing on top of the table in the longer format.
After advancing through last week's semi-final with North Canberra Gungahlin without a ball being bowled due to a wet outfield at Kippax, Wests/UC captain Joe Cooke knows the final is a chance to collect a reward for a long season.
"We're pretty disappointed in the shorter forms and the end result, not getting any silverware," Cooke said.
"As a club, we've been used to winning a bit of silverware, so I suppose there is a little bit of talk amongst a few of us it'd be nice to put at least one piece of silverware in the cabinet for the season.
"The biggest thing for us is having so many young guys in the team, the experience those guys have gained from last year's final is massive."
Weston Creek will be hoping it's a case of third time lucky in the 2015-16 campaign after coming up short against Queanbeyan in both the T20 and 50-over finals.
"We've had a bit of heartbreak in terms of the T20 and the one-dayers, so hopefully we get some nice conditions and play some good cricket," Weston Creek captain Jono Dean said.
"The red-ball stuff is a great opportunity to finish the season strong.
"We had a similar season last year where we missed out with the white-ball stuff and came home strong with the red-ball."
Creek's batting is their strength, with five of their batsmen among the top seven with the highest average in the competition.
John Rogers, in his first season after finishing his first-class career with Western Australia, leads the way scoring 685 runs at an incredible average of 137 with three centuries from seven innings.
He is supported by ANU recruit Mark Bennett (680 at 61.82), Blake Dean (457 at 57.13), Sam Taylor (484 at 53.78) and Adelaide Strikers batsman Jono Dean (299 at 49.83).
"John didn't play first-class cricket for no reason – he's no mug," Jono Dean said.
"He got back before Christmas, he's an unbelievable cricketer, he's an unbelievable person and brings a really good vibe to the group.
"He's on another level."
Wests/UC veteran Darren Richards (551 runs at 61.22) has been in vintage form with the bat, while left-arm paceman Ben Oakley (40 wickets at 11.13) is always dangerous with the new ball.
"They're the team to beat, but we'll give it everything we've got," Cooke said.
