The Tigers comfortably accounted for the Gungahlin Jets in a 115-point thrashing at Gungahlin Enclosed Oval on Saturday.

It comes seven days after they knocked over the struggling Tuggeranong Hawks by 135 points, and two weeks before a competition-wide bye.

The wins are great, but any coach will tell you it's a tough ask to get players up for a game they are near-certainties to win.

Eastlake have struggled in AFL Canberra's first grade competition in recent years but are looking like a finals-quality team in 2017.

Now the Demons could be a saving grace for Corcoran after his side knocked over the Jets 22.9 (141) to 3.8 (26).

"It's actually really difficult task to get the boys up for a game like this," Corcoran said.

"It's a bit of a lull in our draw to be honest. We play Tuggeranong and then Gungahlin, and it's hard to keep the boys motivated. In that first half we were definitely flat and not ready to play.

"We're actually really excited to play Eastlake. They're very much a rejuvenated team."

Corcoran said Gungahlin's relentless pressure in the first half made things tough for the Tigers, who only held a five-goal lead at the main break.

But shifting James Manie, Tim Shea and Jeremy Kirkwood across the half-forward line opened the door for the Tigers to kick clear in the second half.

Ryan Quade kicked six straight for Queanbeyan to continue his efficient record, well supported up front by Brett Fruend (four goals) and Josh Bryce (three goals).

"They provide us a target that we were able to kick to, that's where we were falling down in the first half," Corcoran said.

"Gungahlin were able to put numbers behind the ball and we just couldn't execute coming into the forward line.

"What we're really trying to do is get an even spread of goal kickers and not rely on any one player too much."

Meanwhile, Ainslie prevailed over Belconnen in a top of the table clash, holding the Magpies goalless in the final term for a 12.12 (84) to 9.13 (67) win.

Eastlake bounced back from a loss last week to triumph over the Tuggeranong Hawks in a 21.17 (143) to 7.4 (46) victory.
