Belconnen United clinched their third straight ACT women's premier league grand final victory with a comfortable 2-0 win against Canberra FC at McKellar Park on Sunday.

Goals to former Matildas striker Caitlin Munoz and Jessie Williams were enough for the Blue Devils to win their fourth grand final in the past five years.
The Blue Devils enjoyed a dominant campaign with 40 points out of a possible 45, winning 13 of their 15 games with just one loss and a draw, scoring 52 goals in the regular season while conceding just six.
They completed the treble, adding the grand final trophy to their fifth straight league championship and Federation Cup triumphs.
Munoz - who was awarded the Murray Medal for the best player in the grand final - said the team's finals experience proved crucial.
"We've been in the grand final for a few years and we're always up there at the top of the ladder," Munoz said.
"Experience comes into play big-time.
"We always had the game in control, but Canberra FC came out firing in the second half and I think the heat took it out of both teams."
Canberra FC captain Alice Churchill said her side could take plenty of positives out of their first women's premier league grand final appearance.
"We were pretty stoked last week to beat Gungahlin to get to the final," Churchill said.
"It's an unfortunate way to end the season, but I'm pretty proud of the girls, we've come pretty far in the season.
"You could everyone was a bit nervy and the experience really had an impact."
Munoz put the Blue Devils in front in the 25th minute, producing a trademark header to finish off a nice cross from Williams.
The Blue Devils had several quality chances, but it took until the 67th minute to double their lead, Williams capitalising on a mistake from Canberra FC goalkeeper Georgia Stewart.
Munoz will now turn her attention to helping Canberra United win back-to-back W-League championships.
"We started pre-season last week, so hopefully the body holds up," Munoz said.
"I feel the fittest I've been the last couple of years, which is surprising.
"We're the team no-one wants to play and we've been really consistent over the eight seasons."
