Floros has been selected in the ACT XI to take on Papua New Guinea in the Prime Minister's XI curtain-raiser after a string of dominant performances in Cricket ACT's first grade competition.
Jason Floros is a regular for Queensland and the Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash League, while Tim and Matthew are mainstays in the Australian indoor cricket team.
Benji Floros has already played alongside his brothers in the national indoor side, and is eyeing a similar path to Jason with dreams of a first class contract.
But first, he wants to do something that he jokes will give him bragging rights at the dinner table.
Never has one of the four played for the ACT Comets in the Futures League, and Benji Floros wants to be the first.
The Tuggeranong quick has taken 22 wickets across the one-day and two-day competitions this season and feels like he is closing in on a Futures League debut.
However it hasn't all been smooth sailing for Floros. Last summer he was limited to white ball cricket with an L4 fracture, before making a triumphant return to the Douglas Cup with 6-45 against Eastlake in November.
Now he is striving to replicate that form for Tuggeranong in their top of the table clash with Ginninderra at Kippax Oval on Saturday.
"It's always good to be the first one when you've got three older brothers doing the same thing," Benji Floros said of a possible Futures League berth.
"I think I've still got a while to go. I've just got to perform a few more times before I get to there but it feels like it's getting closer to me. I really want it, I've just got to work even harder to get it."
Floros says he can't wait for the opportunity to play against an international side on one of the biggest days on Canberra's cricket calendar on February 15.
The match will see Floros join the likes of Big Bash League players Aiden Blizzard and Jono Dean and former first class player John Rogers in the ACT XI.
"They've all played at Big Bash level and even higher than that so it's always good to learn from them, see what they know, [and] obviously take it into my game," Floros said.
Cricket ACT general manager of high performance Blizzard hopes that soon enough he'll be alongside Floros in the Futures League.
"Benji has had a great premier season, so we wanted to reward him and let him know that we're definitely keeping an eye on him," Blizzard said.
"You're only one or two good performances away from the next level. These guys are no different. We're looking at premier cricket every weekend to see who are the next ones coming through and Benji Floros is a great example of being rewarded with that selection."
