A four-wicket haul to Weston Creek Molonglo fast bowler Joe Slater helped ACT/NSW Country remained unbeaten with a five-wicket victory against Victoria Country in Wednesday's semi-final.
Slater ripped through the Victoria Country batting line-up with 4-31 while North Canberra Gungahlin spinner Ben Taylor chimed in with 2-46 in a total of 161.
In reply, Queanbeyan batsman Henry Hunt scored 41 as ACT/NSW Country reached the victory target with 85 balls to spare for their seventh straight win of the carnival.
The best result by an ACT/NSW Country under-19 team was in 2008 in Hobart when Australian spinner Nathan Lyon skippered the side to second place.
The final gets underway at Gliderol stadium at 10.30am.
