The Blue Devils will be relieved to have secured at least a point to keep the pressure on the top-of-the-table Cooma Tigers with a 1-1 draw against Olympic on Saturday night.
The Tigers are still two points clear in first place despite their 11-game winning run coming to an end at the hands of the Football Federation Australia Centre of Excellence.
Jordan Lando's 90th minute strike saved the Tigers from leaving the AIS without anything as they squeezed out a 2-2 draw.
It was a similar scenario at McKellar Park as Mukevski finally cracked the Olympic defence.
That sparked a frantic final five minutes, the Blue Devils having a shot cleared off the line while Olympic had claims for a penalty turned down.
It was a stark contrast from a lacklustre first half, which didn't get going until Rogic's stunning free kick.
The older sibling of Socceroos and Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic sweetly struck his 35m shot into the top corner of the net past the out-stretched hand of Blue Devils goalkeeper Ashley Collins.
Olympic players originally protested the awarding of the free kick and wanted the referee to play advantage instead.
Behind 1-0 at halftime, the Blue Devils attempted to push forward but were thwarted by some solid Olympic defending.
Blue Devils captain Taylor Beaton was substituted on the hour mark after carrying an injury into the game, with Jason Ugrinic brought on in his place.
The match appeared heading Olympic's way until Mukevski pounced on a loose ball inside the six-yard box to fire home the equaliser with a minute left in normal time.
A chaotic injury period followed as both sides had chances, but in the end a point each was a fair result on the balance of play.
It means the race for the league championship will likely come down to Belconnen United's trip to Nijong Oval next Sunday to face the Tigers.
In Sunday's games, Canberra FC can close the gap on the top two when it takes on Canberra City at the Hawker Football Centre, while Woden Valley hosts Monaro Panthers at Kaleen Enclosed Oval.
