Nominations are open for the People's Sporting Champion award until October 14, where the athlete with the most votes is deemed the winner.
Nominations for all other awards to celebrate the achievements of the national capital's leading athletes and teams have closed.
Nine award categories, including the likes of athlete of the year and team of the year, will be recognised with alongside the annual ACT Sport Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The ACT Sport Hall of Fame looks to recognise those that have shaped the region's sporting history.
The group boasts the likes of David Campese, Mal Meninga, Ricky Stuart, Ned Zelic, George Gregan and Wally Masur.
Nominations are also being taken for those who wish to recognise someone for their commitment to inclusion and diversity in sport, as well as a categories for innovation and event management.
