Following the Seattle Storm's one-point loss to Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA play-offs yesterday, Jackson is available to return to the WNBL.
Jackson, who shot just one from seven from the field in the game, had the opportunity to take the Storm deeper into the play-offs, but her turnaround jump shot with one second left on the clock hit the rim.
Seattle's loss is Canberra's gain, with Jackson contracted to return to the Capitals at the conclusion of her WNBA season.
''We expect her to be in Canberra and be on deck Tuesday morning,'' Basketball ACT chief executive Tony Jackson said after speaking with Jackson's agent last night.
''She'll make a fairly hasty exit from Seattle … her agent expects her to arrive in Australia some time over the weekend. We have every expectation that she'll hit the road with the team [for matches against Townsville and Logan].
''How much she'll play - that'll be up to the head coach, but definitely we'll expect her on the flight with the team.''
The Capitals will play their first home game on October 20 against the Bulleen Boomers.
