Higgs retired from first grade at the end of last season after leading Queanbeyan to a clean sweep of all Cricket ACT titles.
But he could return to play Eastlake today, just 24 hours after the Bluebags were smashed in an outright defeat by Tuggeranong at Chisholm.
The defending two-day champions were bowled out for just 77 in their second innings, with Tuggeranong securing a nine-wicket outright win.
In the other match of the round, Wests-UC also scored an outright triumph, with opening batsman Darren Richards leading the way by smashing an unbeaten 123.
