The ACT Meteors bore the brunt of a NSW Breakers batting onslaught as they missed out on the chance to reach the Women's National Cricket League final.

Australian star Ellyse Perry and former Southern Stars captain Alex Blackwell scored magnificent centuries as the Breakers beat the Meteors by 120 runs at Manuka Oval on Saturday.
Perry finished on 126 from just 115 balls and Blackwell scored 108 from 123 in an imposing total of 6-312, before restricting the Meteors to 192.
The Meteors finished the season with three wins from their six games as the Breakers kept their dream alive of a record 11th straight title.
Meteors captain Kris Britt said her side could keep its head up after a promising season featuring back-to-back wins in Melbourne.
"The program is going along really well and the culture has defined us this season with all the new faces in the squad," Britt said.
"It's not the end for this group. Unfortunately we didn't get to the final this time, but there are only positives going forward."
The Meteors made early inroads into the NSW batting line-up to reduce the Breakers to 2-23.
But Perry and Blackwell turned the game on its head, putting on a stunning partnership of 232 runs for the third wicket.
The Meteors were made to pay for dropping several catches as Perry and Blackwell took full toll.
Perry was pleased her and Blackwell were able to cash in on a great batting deck.
"We just thought we needed to rebuild a little and take our time," Perry said.
"We still needed to bowl well because 300 on Manuka Oval is certainly achievable and they've got some really dangerous batters. We came out with some solid intent to bowl well and we did that pretty well."
Southern Stars all-rounder Erin Osborne was the best of the Meteors' bowlers with 2-50 from her 10 overs, while Nicole Goodwin (2-73) did the damage early.
Everything needed to go right for the Meteors to haul in such a massive total.
Claire Koski (four), Katie Mack (nine) and Sara Hungerford (12) went cheaply to put the Meteors on the back foot.
The Breakers are attempting to equal the legendary St George rugby league team with 11-straight premierships.
They are six points clear of third-placed Victoria Spirit ahead of Sunday's match at Manuka Oval.
