The Socceroos have turned their focus to next Tuesday's clash in Dhaka after easily accounting for Kyrgyzstan 3-0 at Canberra Stadium on Thursday night.
Midfielder Matt McKay said on Monday he was "not really" that worried about heading to a country so unstable that Cricket Australia deemed it too dangerous for a recent tour.
A request by Football Federation Australia to FIFA to shift the game was also rejected.Striker Nathan Burns said the players wanted to talk about the situation and would defer to the more experienced players to decide whether they would go to Bangladesh.
"I think we have a meeting tonight and we'll discuss it," Burns said on Thursday night.
"We have team leaders, they have a point of view. They have all the facts, we come all together and we make the right decision, I suppose."
Burns declared he would be right to take his part in the side if the Socceroos travelled to Bangladesh.
The FC Tokyo striker started on the bench before he replaced Tomi Juric, who came off with a leg injury, early in the first half.
Burns drew the penalty that led to Mile Jedinak's strike from the spot in the 40th minute before he was replaced himself in the second half.
"Just a [cork] above the knee. It was getting worse. It should settle down in 24 hours. Should be right," Burns said.
Burns provided plenty of spark in attack when he was injected into the game.
"Because I was watching the first 20 minutes on the bench, you can see where the other team was lacking a little bit," Burns said.
"I thought I'd offer runs in behind and a little width and that's my game, so it just happened to work."
Burns is enjoying his time with FC Tokyo, securing the move after a brilliant season in the A-League with Wellington Phoenix.
"I love it. It's a great set-up, great league. It will really push me next year," Burns said.
"One game left in the season. It's a very sharp league. The Japanese are really good technical players.
"It's not an easy league, I can tell you that.
"What I've noticed in six months is I'm going to have to work hard to stand out and obviously dominate that league."
