Tennis: Rising Canberra star Nick Kyrgios will rub shoulders with former world No. 1 Andre Agassi and Serena Williams after being selected for the inaugural International Premier Tennis League.

Kyrgios was chosen alongside Agassi, Williams and fellow Australians Pat Rafter and Lleyton Hewitt for Team Singapore for the competition from November 27 to December 14.
Rounding out the team is Tomas Berdych, Bruno Soares and Daniela Hantuchova. Kyrgios has enjoyed a rapid rise since progressing to the second round of the Australian Open in January and representing Australia in the Davis Cup tie against France.
He is training in Melbourne after sustaining an elbow injury in the lead-up to the ATP event in Memphis last month.
More than $26.8 million was spent across the four teams to be based in Bangkok, Mumbai, Dubai and Singapore.
Rafael Nadal will headline Team Mumbai, while Novak Djokovic is in Team Dubai. The IPTL is tennis' version of the highly successful Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament.
Each match will follow a best-of-five format with separate sets in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, mixed doubles and past champions singles.
