ABC Radio Canberra slipped to fourth place - with more people now tuning in to Triple J.
In the third survey for the year, 106.3 was out on top with 18.3 per cent of the listening audience, followed by sister station Hit 104.7 (15.4 per cent), then Triple J (12.7 per cent, up 2.1 percentage points) and ABC Radio Canberra (11.5 per cent).
ABC Classic has 7.6 per cent of the audience, followed by Radio National (6.6 per cent), 2CA (6.5 per cent), 2CC (5.5 per cent) and ABC News (4.5 per cent).
The return of Nigel Johnson to the airwaves nearly a year ago continued to reap rewards for 106.3, with its breakfast slot of Nige and Kristen Henry the most-listened-to in the national capital (17.3 per cent).
They were followed by Dan Bourchier on ABC Radio Canberra (15.4 per cent) and Hit 104.7 (at 14.6 per cent, down 2.4 percentage points on the last survey).
Triple J breakfast hosts Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton were gaining on Hit 104.7, sitting at 14 per cent, up 2.7 percentage points.
The results include listening via streaming to ABC, Hit 104.7, MIX 106.3, 2CC and 2CA for the entire survey.
Canberra FM Radio is the owner of MIX 106.3 and Hit 104.7. General manager Craig Wagstaff said: "We're again thrilled and humbled to be No.1 and No.2".
