Turner was instrumental in Canberra's 3-1 win over the NSW Waratahs in an Australian Hockey League encounter at the ACT Hockey Centre on Saturday.
The 34-year-old had even more reason to celebrate as he joined Lakers teammate Aaron Kershaw in Canberra's greatest ever team unveiled on Saturday night.

It was better news for Canberra, who clinched a top three spot with their position heading into the quarter finals determined late on Saturday night.
Quarter-final match-ups are be determined by pool placings, with the highest ranked side in pool A meeting the lowest ranked team in pool B and so on.
The finals are played in the Gold Coast from Thursday, with medal matches taking place on Sunday.
