Ms Le, a lawyer, was announced as Multicultural Advocate of the Year.
The Islamic centre won the Community Organisation of the Year gong for its work promoting the culturally and socially diverse ethnic groups of Muslims in Canberra.
The Education Award was taken home by the teaching team behind Aranda Primary School's English as an Additional Language or Dialect program.Community radio presenter Victor Marillanca won the media award. Other winners included Ebenezer Banful, announced as the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award and Canberra CBD Limited, which was awarded the Business Enterprise of the Year Award.
