A man entered the 7-Eleven Service station at 3.30am on Wednesday and demanded cash from the attendant while threatening him with a large screwdriver.
The employee handed over a sum of cash, but then locked the main doors to stop the man escaping.
The video shows a dark green Mazda 121 smashing into the front of the service station and breaking the doors down. The man exits the store and escapes in the vehicle.
The green Mazda had been stolen from an apartment complex in Lyons earlier on Tuesday night.
