A former Canberra teacher and ASIC senior executive will stand trial on allegations he abused a 14-year-old boy in the 1980s.

Peter Cuzner, 60, of Kaleen pleaded not guilty in the ACT Magistrates Court to three acts of indecency against the child in 1986.
He appeared in court again on Wednesday, when Magistrate Beth Campbell committed him to stand trial in the ACT Supreme Court.
A statement of facts detailing the allegations has not yet been tendered and the case will be mentioned in the higher court later this month. Cuzner's bail was continued.
He was a teacher at a number of schools in the ACT, including Daramalan College, although it is not yet clear where the alleged abuse occurred.
Cuzner was listed as the ASIC regional commissioner for the ACT, a senior executive position, but was suspended once the organisation learned of the allegations.
He was one of four former teachers charged last year after the territory's police launched a sweeping investigation into child sexual abuse in Canberra schools in the 1980s.
ACT Policing launched Operation Attest following the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
David Peter Kisun, 70, has pleaded not guilty to three charges of indecently assaulting a male for offences that allegedly occurred at Marist College Canberra in the early 1980s.
Ex-Marist brothers John William Chute, known as "Brother Kostka", 83, and Gregory Joseph Sutton, 64, are also before the court.
Chute faces two charges of indecent assault on a male and two acts of indecency on a person under 16, while Sutton was charged with three indecent assaults on a male.
No details of the allegations against those men have been detailed yet and the matters return to court next month when each is expected to enter pleas.
