Queanbeyan batsman Henry Hunt and Weston Creek Molonglo paceman Joe Slater starred as ACT/NSW Country claimed its biggest scalp at the under-19 national championships.

Hunt belted 69 from 81 balls and Slater picked up four wickets as ACT/NSW Country thrashed NSW Metro by seven wickets in Adelaide on Thursday.
ACT/NSW Country restricted NSW Metro to just 136, Slater ripping apart the top order with 4-29, before Hunt's brilliant knock helped his side reach the target with 25 overs to spare.
Slater's club teammate Mac Wright took 1-11 off 2.2 overs while North Canberra Gungahlin spinner Ben Taylor bowled a great 10-over spell, finishing with 1-29.
Hunt was destructive in the run chase, clearing the rope six times on the way to his half century.
ACT/NSW Country is on top of the ladder after three rounds and are the only undefeated team at the championships.
Their next assignment is against Queensland on Friday.
Meanwhile, Lily Bardsley became the 11th ACT Meteors player to secure a Women's Big Bash League contract when she signed with the Melbourne Stars on Thursday.
Bardsley joins Meteors teammate Katie Mack at the Stars, who are captained by Australian skipper Meg Lanning.
