I have wonderful news: we're looking at much cooler days from now on. The weather bureau has put today's top temperature at 24 degrees with an expected minimum of 12, Thursday will be 24 degrees and Friday 25 degrees. Sweet relief!

Sold on the Education Directorate website as "providing certainty" to NSW families, the changes mean students from NSW can now only attend certain schools in Belconnen and Tuggeranong, billed as pathway schools.

The changes come as schools in more popular zones - including in Gungahlin, the inner south and the inner north - grapple with capacity issues.

Endometriosis sufferers say long waiting times for specialists as well as restricted access to pain medication means treatment for the condition is defined by their bank accounts and not by their needs.

Difficulties in accessing pain medications have come into sharp relief as pain sufferers and medical professionals prepare for medications containing codeine to become available only with a prescription from a GP from Thursday onwards.

Chisholm resident Erica Brown says the ban is just one element of difficulty for women suffering endometriosis, a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing pain and sometimes infertility.

Three in four food delivery riders surveyed in Sydney and Melbourne said they were paid below the minimum wage, prompting a national campaign for regulation of the on-demand economy.

The Transport Workers Union survey found many riders were underpaid, had been injured on the job without insurance cover or sick pay and had worked more than 40 hours a week.

Of the 160 delivery riders who were interviewed in person and online in Melbourne and Sydney in recent weeks, three in four said they were paid below the minimum award wage.

International acts Lady Leshurr (UK), Aminé (USA), Duke Dumont (UK) and Claptone (Germany), Portugal. The Man (USA), and Royal Blood (UK) will also be joining the tour.
