The list was compiled by Business Insider Singapore which included the two tiny homes at The Saddle Camp just outside Braidwood, which anyone can book and stay in.

The Saddle Camp was one of only two Australian listings, the other in Victoria.

The other tiny tourist homes on the list ranged from a circus car in Germany to a cabin in Wyoming.

While the publication mistakingly put the destination as "Briarwood'' instead of Braidwood, it did laud The Saddle Camp as "perfect for the animal lover, this tiny home is located on an Australian horse riding farm with 168 acres of open meadows and woodlands for a saddle camp experience''.

The Saddle Camp is owned and run by Helen and Rob Faulkner, originally in Sydney, starting 21 years ago, but for the last 15 years in Braidwood.

The facility has long offered overnight camps for girls who like to ride horses as well as riding instruction for all children.

Helen said one tiny home was added in September for tourist and parent accommodation and was such a success a second tiny home was moved to the farm this month.

Helen said parents of children staying on the riding camps were booking the tiny homes but also overseas tourists who were interested in horse riding and wanted the full Australian experience.

So far they'd had tourists from Singapore, South America and Korea.

"We're very close to Canberra so they can jump off a plane and hire a car, come here for a visit and then continue on down to coast and check that out,'' she said.

Helen said she'd received an email from Singapore to say The Saddle Camp had made the list of top tiny homes and was inspired by the other incredible accommodation also included from around the world.

She said The Saddle Camp tiny homes were laidback and pared back, going for a minimalist feel so that visitors could simply relax and enjoy their stay while escaping the minutiae of their everyday life.
