It was a weekend of high scores across the Griffith District Football Association All Aged Men’s Division. Hanwood White got the scoring underway on Sunday afternoon when they took on Griffith City Two in the early game at Exies Oval.  A hat-trick from Phillip Middlemiss and a double to Michael Cimador as well as goals to Andrew Gamble, Kyle Greaves, Brad Clark, Daniel Johnson and Jacob Zanatta helped their side to 10-0 win over the bottom-placed City. It was a weekend for high scoring games at Exies with Griffith City One backing it up with another one sided scoreline in their game against West Griffith. City walked away with a 10-0 win which sees them climb into the top four on goal difference above Hanwood Blue. It sets up a tight run to the end for both sides knowing one slip up could mean the difference from playing in the top four finals and the bottom four with only two games remaining in the season. In the final game, Yoogali FC One and Yoogali SC played out a back and forth game. After Yoogali SC took the lead early, FC One fought back to take a 2-1 lead into halftime. Three goals in 20 minutes from YSC saw them take the lead before the sides traded goals to finish 5-4.
