A woman has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after the car she was driving was involved in a collision with a cane train in central Queensland.

The train derailed after the collision at a level crossing on Burnett Heads Road in the Bundaberg suburb of Qunaba just after 11.10am on Friday.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Helicopter was called to the scene, but in the end two patients were taken to Bundaberg Hospital by ambulance.
The Queensland Ambulance Service tweeted a female car driver was in a serious condition with a neck and significant leg injury.
The male train driver was in a stable condition with a back injury, QAS said.
