Jindalee's direct factory outlet is about to get a new lease on life with a new theatre complex of six cinemas, an Eat Street-style dining precinct, and a redesigned retail section.

The DFO is one of two in Brisbane, the second out at Brisbane Airport, and after being recently sold is making changes to how it operates.
At Brisbane City Council's city planning committee on Tuesday, chairman Matthew Bourke said the DFO had been built on the site of the former Amazons Water Park which closed down in the 1990s.
The original construction of the DFO saw a strong protest from residents until it opened in 2007.
However, it had "struggled" to get the balance of tenants right and after the site changed hands about two years ago, Cr Bourke said the owners were seeking to make it a more attractive location for nearby residents.
"It's moved away from being a DFO to being a more traditional shopping precinct with a better offering and a more mixed offering for residents," Cr Bourke said.
"This is part of the change the owners have put in place."
The committee considered an application for the DFO to install six cinemas, including a luxury Titan cinema, in the building, and unanimously recommended council approve it next week.
Cr Bourke said there were no cinemas in the surrounding suburbs, which was an issue noted in the region's neighbourhood plan.
The application lodged in December last year covered the redevelopment of the existing ground floor into a six-cinema theatre, with a 536-seat capacity.
The Titan cinema was set to have a high definition wide-screen, and luxury seating and dining options.
Another 11 car parking spaces will be added to the 912 car parking lot but council officers said the planned addition of the theatre would have minimal impacts on traffic in the region.
The cinema would operate 9am to 12am, seven days a week.
It's one part of the planned redevelopment of the DFO, with the first stage planned to add four large-format retail tenancies, and the cinemas delivered as the second stage.
“Additional construction stages of the project will include the development of a new Eat Street style precinct,” he said.
“I believe the redevelopment of the existing DFO Jindalee will turn the site into a meeting place for residents and visitors and further foster a sense of community in the western suburbs."
