A man is in a serious condition after he was shot in the leg at Beenleigh, south of Brisbane, on Tuesday evening.

Police and paramedics arrived at a house on Lehmans Road at Beenleigh about 4.40pm.
Police are looking for two men of "Islander appearance", who they believe are responsible for the attack.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the injured man, aged in his 20s, was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
But police say the victim was aged in his 40s and the two men on the run were aged in their 20s.
“A crime scene has been established with detectives, forensic and scientific officers, general duties crews, dog squad and Polair attending,” a police spokesman said.
“Two men remain on the run and are described as Islander in appearance, aged in their 20s with large builds.
“Police are appealing for anyone with any information that can assist their inquiries into the incident to contact them,” he said.
Investigations are continuing into the incident.
