The 12-year-old was last seen jumping out of a car and running away at the intersection of Browns Plains Road and Mount Lindesay Highway about 4.30pm, police said.

There was no indication the boy was being held against his will, police said.

He is about 120cm tall with brown eyes and brown hair with a section of dyed blond hair.

He was last seen wearing a yellow jumper.

Anyone with information about the boy’s whereabouts was urged to contact police.
