A man is fighting for life in hospital with suspected head and lower-limb injuries after being struck by a car south of Brisbane.

Police said the 18-year-old was walking on Tanah Merah Avenue with a group men when he was hit by a vehicle about 1.20am on Sunday at Tanah Merah, near Loganholme.
Police said the 18-year-old was walking on Tanah Merah Avenue with a group men when he was hit by a vehicle about 1.20am on Sunday at Tanah Merah, near Loganholme.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics and a doctor were sent to the scene before taking the man to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment with life-threatening-injuries.
The driver, a 29-year-old woman, was uninjured during the incident.
The Forensic Crash Unit will investigate.
