A motorcyclist has been tackled to the ground while allegedly trying to do a runner after crashing into a motorbike cop in Brisbane's north.

The Road Policing Command senior constable was on speed camera duties near a school at Geebung, near the intersection of Newman and Robinson Roads on Tuesday when he saw a motorbike that was allegedly involved in traffic-related offences in the area recently.
Police said the officer parked his motorcycle in front of the bike just before 4pm and activated his lights.
The other bike then allegedly reversed and drove into the officer’s bike before they both knocked to the ground.
Police said the man tried to run before the officer chased him and tackled him to the ground.
The senior constable was taken to hospital for treatment to a minor injury to his knee and his bike had minor damage.
Police will allege the man was in possession of the drug ice and returned a positive roadside drug test.
The 35-year-old man was issued with a notice to appear in the Sandgate Magistrates Court for driving while disqualified, drug driving, obstructing police and possession of a dangerous drug.
He was also issued with an infringement for operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and being in possession of something that resembled a numberplate.
The man’s motorcycle was seized by police.
Investigations were continuing with further charges expected to be laid.
