Police said emergency services were called to Yalangur Lilyvale Road in Meringandan, about 25 kilometres north of Toowoomba, about 3.30pm on Saturday following reports a motorcycle had crashed.
The 64-year-old was found dead at the scene.
Police said initial information suggested the motorcycle was travelling west on the road when it failed to navigate a bend and then left the roadway.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
Earlier this week, in an unrelated crash, a 66-year-old man died from his injuries in hospital two days after being thrown from his motorbike in north Queensland.
