Hypocrisy abounds when leaders face scrutiny

I wrote an article last year concerning the Australian Public Service's inconsistent – some might say hypocritical – approach to its status as an employer in matters before the Fair Work Commission. It is safe to say the article caused some consternation among senior public servants, including Public Service Commissioner John Lloyd, who emailed me outlining his concerns.
