Where are history's great political partnerships?

Public statues need to be expert at multitasking. At the one time, they have to celebrate achievement and commemorate events. They remind us of individuals and recall us to our duty. Few succeed, none as emphatically as a depiction in bronze of two quirky, eccentric blokes nattering away while off on a walk.
