Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has lambasted the Tattersall's Club for continuing to deny women membership.

Ms Palaszczuk reiterated her ban on her ministers attending the men-only Brisbane CBD club while it continued its policy of not allowing women to hold membership.
"In a state that has a female Premier, Deputy Premier, Opposition Leader and Chief Justice, a club that seeks to engage community leaders but bans women from being members is out of step with community sentiment," she said.
"While any vote is a matter for the club, our position is unchanged.
"My ministers will not be joining or attending the club while the current eligibility remains."
Traditionally, the Tattersall's Club, opened in 1865, has issued "honorary membership" invitations to male MPs and ministers.
But despite running the state, Ms Palaszcuzk and the female members of her cabinet did not make the cut after winning the 2015 election.
The 153-year-old club has been canvassing the possibility of allowing women full membership in recent months.
A vote of the club's 4800 members could be announced within days, according to The Australian.
It could take the form of a postal ballot.
Under current rules, women can enter the club and use facilities such as the gym and pool if they hold a "partner card", or attend a function if they are a guest.
An anonymous website called "Tatts Myths" has been created to "help members navigate the various claims made to justify major structural changes and provide factual rebuttals to said claims".
The website said a proposal to change from a single-gender membership structure had been rejected by members three times, including in 2006.
It points out that "female only clubs [account] for 17 of the 20 single gender clubs in Brisbane".
The Queensland Club, on George Street, is also men-only, while the Brisbane Women's Club is women-only.
The Brisbane Club opened its doors to female members 20 years ago.
The Tattersall's Club has featured prominently in Queensland politics in recent years, notably when the state's Liberal National Party hosted its International Women's Day lunch at the men-only club in 2015.
The Tattersall's Club was contacted for comment.
