Play was abandoned without a ball bowled on day one of Cricket ACT's three-day decider between Ginninderra and Weston Creek Molonglo at Phillip Oval on Friday.
Ginninderra finished third while Creek finished fourth, meaning no result would gift the higher-ranked Tigers a premiership.
But the skies are expected to clear over the weekend to give both sides a shot at winning the title on the park - and if you ask either team, that's the way they'd prefer to get it.
Creek are looking to become the first team to win back-to-back Douglas Cups since Western District-UC achieved the feat in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
Weather permitting, play will begin 30 minutes earlier on day two as both sides look to make up for lost time.
