The 89-year-old Tewantin resident was left in a critical condition on Thursday after the crash before 1pm on Hilton Esplanade in Noosa.

She was taken to the Noosa Hospital but died of her injuries.
The 48-year-old Marcoola man who was driving the Mercedes Benz was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit investigation is continuing.
