The man shot up to eight times in the groin and leg at his Gold Coast residence has been charged after a showdown of alleged bikies at a Logan car park in February.

Gokhan Turkyilmaz, 33, was granted bail at the Southport Watchhouse on Wednesday morning over medical reasons and was set to front court this month.
The former professional fighter was released from hospital last week after he was shot up to eight times inside his home on February 26.
Mr Turkyilmaz was charged on Tuesday over his alleged involvement in an earlier shooting at Logan Hyperdome the same month, where a machete-wielding man was shot in the leg with a high-calibre pistol.
Thirteen people have now been charged over the Logan car park showdown.
Mr Turkyilmaz's arrest comes days after police said there had been an "absolute escalation of violence" between members of outlaw motorcycle clubs in the past few weeks.
Police have not officially identified the two clubs they believe are involved and would not speculate about why there had been a flare-up.
A suspected arson was also being investigated after a fire tore through a north Brisbane tattoo parlour owned by “Little” Mick Kosenko, believed to be linked to outlawed motorcycle club Rebels.
In a Facebook post on Mr Kosenko's business page, Koolsville Studios, he said his family and staff were devastated by the fire.
"Real men deal with issues face to face and don’t destroy other people’s property," the post read.
"Clearly neither of you have known what it’s like to be loved or have had the support of the community."
Major Organised Crime and Gang Squad Detective Inspector Glen Donaldson said 210 patched members of outlaw gangs had disaffiliated from their clubs because of "relentless pressure" from police.
"If you are considering joining one of these gangs, or hanging around these gangs, do not be fooled into thinking this is a glamorous lifestyle.
“Violence involving criminal gangs, particularly in public spaces, will not be tolerated."
Police Minister Mark Ryan said Queensland had the toughest bikie laws in the nation.
"Our police are working so quickly, so hard, to keep on top of outlaw motorcycle gangs in Queensland," he said.
"As soon as one of them steps out of line, our police jump on them."
