A 15-year-old boy has been charged over a fatal traffic crash in Stafford in Brisbane's north on Saturday.

Queensland police said at 2am on Saturday morning a car driving along Appleby Road left the road, crashed through a fence and hit the front of a house.
A male passenger in the car, also 15, died at the scene. Another teenager was taken to the Lady Cilento Hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
A Queensland Police spokesman said on Wednesday morning the boy was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death, unlawful use of motor vehicle and driving without a licence.
